I was diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age, I saw myself really failing in school and found that writing about something I was passionate about; video games, and then having direct feedback from editors really helped me learn to write. When dealing with news, I found myself getting better and faster and reading which had always been a huge weak point for me. Writing about video games has helped me much more than traditional lessons and education.

Review Example:
Attack of the Earthlings is a dark, turn-based stealth tactics game, with a unique narrative approach; players follow the 'Swarmers', a small alien race that is tired of humanity mining its planet for resources, rather than the humans. So while the player moves the aliens each turn, the AI takes on the role of humanity and moves those units each turn, typically in a predictable pattern.

Preview Example:
First up is Luna: The Shadow Dust, a 2D point and click puzzle game with whimsical artwork that's somewhat reminiscent of Studio Ghibli's output. The game is entirely hand drawn, with loving attention to detail.
In a departure from genre norms, this adventure titles doesn't feature any dialogue whatsoever, instead the narrative is conveyed by Lantern Studio through the use of quirky cinematics and the actions on-screen.

Written Interview Example:
Xeno Crisis is an upcoming twin-stick shooter that plays heavily on nostalgia for the early ‘90s, but which includes modernising features, such as procedural map generation and randomised gameplay elements. At the time of writing the project has been backed on Kickstarter to the tune of £72,500, which is more than triple developer Bitmap Bureau's original goal of £20,000.
